The Medigap Plans Chart below is an example of all ten standardized medigap plans.
When reviewing the chart if you see a checkbox in a column it is because that Medigap policy will cover 100% of the benefit. If you see a percentage instead of a checkbox it means that Medigap policy will cover the benefit up to the percentage listed. You would be responsible for the remainder. If a row is blank then that benefit is not covered and you would be responsible for 100% of those costs.
When you see a highlighted plan like Plans F and G these are the plans we most often recommend. Obviously each person’s requirements are different but we find that most of our client’s needs are best suited to one of these plans.

After you meet your out-of-pocket yearly limit and your yearly Part B deductible ($183 in 2017), the Medigap plan pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the calendar year.
Plan N pays 100% of the Part B coinsurance, except for a copayment of up to $20 for some office visits and up to a $50 copayment for emergency room visits that don’t result in an inpatient admission.
